Fuschias Using Yupo Paper

Join Vinita Pappas as she demonstrates the beauty of fuchsia flowers through her unique technique using yupo paper. In this tutorial, Vinita uses a light pencil sketch to guide the placement of the flowers and a stippling brush to blend out the color and create soft edges. She experiments with a gentle curve that goes behind the flowers, creating a subtle variety of colors with gray, cobalt turquoise, cobalt blue, and raw umber. Vinita then adds hints of color using opera rows to create a smooth and blurry background, a perfect canvas for the vibrant flowers to pop. This project requires patience and several hours to dry, but it is worth it. Get ready to create a beautiful, freeform background and unleash your creativity.
