Barns & Bushes in a Grassy Field
Join artist Vinita Pappas in this painting demonstration as she shares her process for creating a beautiful fall scene. Using a photo she took on her own property, Vinita works on a full sheet of paper to challenge herself and encourage the flow of paint. She starts off by creating a simple, evening sky look with a dirty color mixture and a bit of clean water to break it up. Then, using a warmer green, she adds in the grass and begins to put in the extra little details. Vinita talks about how fall in Oregon is unique in the way that the greens are a bit more golden and warm. She even adds in some blackberry bushes and makes up some cows to add an extra touch to the scene. Throughout the demonstration, Vinita shares tips and tricks to help you learn and improve your painting skills. This video is perfect for artists of all levels looking to try something different!
