Minna was born in Posio, Finland in 1964. She creates her magical paintings using aquarelles.

Looking at her paintings I feel reconnected with the magic of being a child. The world of imagination blends with reality with the emotions of her characters clearly visible on their faces. It’s quite a challenge to create artwork that evokes such an emotional response. Both children and adults love Minna’s paintings and collect every new piece she creates.

Minna says that her favorite season is winter. She is a genius at capturing snow and the feeling of winter with watercolors, which is not always easy.

Mina has seven children and three grandchildren. Her artwork seems to reflect her life as it seems to be created from the point of view of a child. Surrounded by children and filled with childlike wonder, Minna created these magical pieces.
