“This image came to my mind immediately after the opening of the borders with neighboring countries. Out into the world immediately after being locked away for so long during the pandemic.”
2. Wojtek Babski
Painter, Poland
“What I like best in painting is energy, spontaneity, colour, emotions and impression”
Primarily painting feminine motifs such as faces, figures, and silhouettes, his works are a combination of realism and abstract painting. Wojtek was born in the 1960’s and he seems to have retained the love for the bold lines and vivid colours of that era.
What impressed us was the positivity and love that is emanating from each of Wojtek’s paintings. To achieve this effect, he uses a wide brush and palette knife. strokes, along with and large contrasting colour spots.
Lovers of 1960’s Pop Art are likely to love what this painter does to a canvas.

3. J Jie Li
Painter, United States
J. Jie Li primarily works with watercolor. She has a unique way of applying this medium to achieve interesting effects. She is inspired by Traditional Chinese painting and you can definitely feel this influence when looking at her latest painting: Echoes Of The Silence XXVIII.
Her brushstrokes are unusual for a watercolor painter and the play of light and dark makes this painting fascinating. The longer you look, the more you will see.
With this painting, J. Li is calling attention to the current destruction of nature and global climate change.
